Record and play CDs with just one component: the Sony RCD-W3 dual CD recorder and player. One side features a CD player that can play back CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, and the other side a CD recorder that can record to CD-R and CD-RW discs. You can dub at high speeds (4x), which means you can record a 60-minute CD in about 15 minutes. The Synchro-Start Record feature aids in smooth starts and stops and a completely synchronized recording from the original, and a manual record feature lets you create your own mixes. And if you're not happy with the end result when recording to CD-RW media, you can use the unfinalize function and erase function (single track or entire disc) to redo the disc.
The front-panel text display shows track and disc information, remaining play time, and remaining recordable time. Playback features include repeat (track, disc), shuffle, and programmable play (up to 20 tracks). When there is a disc in each deck, you can alternate play between each deck so when one disc ends, the other will begin to play for continuous play between each disc.
The RCD-W3 can connect to your home audio system with a variety of inputs and outputs, including one RCA input, one digital optical input, one RCA output, and one digital optical output.
